Defensive rebounds (DRB) are significant to a team’s defensive plan as they lessen the number of opportunities that the other team has to score on a second or third scoring attempt in a play. It is evaluated by dividing the total number of defensive rebounds generated by the player or team by the total number of rebounds available. Then, just multiply the accumulated result by 100 to get it in a percentage.
